In this unit we begin our discussion on meal preparation by identifying nutrient rich foods and their values, learning to read labels on food packaging and understanding the importance of hydration. Additionally, we take a look on different ways to balance macronutrients and micronutrients in our daily diet.

Complete the assignment on meal planning
Create a meal plan for one day by constructing a course of 4-5 meals. The meal plan must include references to portion sizes, caloric intake, vitamins, macro and micronutrients.
