This online module aims at aiding learners understand how a balanced diet can be beneficial to their health and encourages them to adopt healthier eating habits. By the end of the module, learners should be familiar with dietary terms and concepts, they should be able to create a detailed weekly meal plan and potentially improve their current habits through their own initiative. Learners will be required to study articles, watch videos, discuss with their peers, take simple quizzes and submit worksheets for evaluation.

 

Objectives

After completion of the course students will be able to:

  • Understand nutritional concepts
  • Understand lawful eating and cooking habits
  • Realise potential dietary dangers
  • Provide a detailed and comprehensible meal plan
