Homework; A picture is worth a thousand words

There is a saying that “A picture is worth a thousand words”. Taking this into consideration, look at the pictures provided. Once you have chosen one, provide a written answer describing your thoughts about the picture and its relation to the topic of Earth Day.  What do you think the message being conveyed is? Do you think the picture is worth a thousand words? Share your answers and the picture you have chosen on padlet and comment on at least one of your peer’s posts. 



Final Assignment - Assessment

Based on the knowledge you have acquired throughout the modules concerning the topic of "Environment", create a small PowerPoint presentation in which you will be promoting the importance of protecting Planet Earth.  For the presentation you are required to refer to the significance of the annual celebration of "International Mother Earth Day" and the impact such a day has on our attitudes towards the environment. You may also refer to the significance of other annual events such as "Earth Hour". For this presentation you are required to work in groups of three in order to facilitate a positive enviornment of collaboration and peer interaction. Each group will appoint one member to submit the final PowerPoint presentation. Make sure to include the names and ID numbers of each group member.
