Travelling and public transportation

This module is addressing ten students of the 6th grade of an elementary school at the B1 level, according to the CEFR. The teaching method is blended learning, so previous in-person classes are considered as a pre-requisite in order for students to successfully complete the module. Students are going to practice what they have learnt in previous sessions both individually and in groups and forum discussions. The listening audios that were presented in class and the grammatical explanations are also considered as a pre-requisite.Except for the students' assessment on the tasks, they are going to be assessed on their interaction skills in the forum discussions and blogs. In this module there both formative and summative assessment for students.
Objectives
-activate background and prior knowledge
-summarize what has been taught to them in-class about the advantages of public transport
-apply grammatical rules they have acquired in tasks in the module
-work in groups in order to actively collaborate ,allocate the work load and assign roles
-see the forum discussion and blogs as a means of communication and avoidance of self-isolation
-accept other people's opinions when they are a team
-improve their critical thinking

PAST SIMPLE AND PAST CONTINUOUS
1. PAST SIMPLE-ΑΟΡΙΣΤΟΣ
-for an action which happened in the past
-for a repeated action in the past
-for actions which happened in the past one after the other
Form of regular verbs: verb + ed suffix
e.g play - played
negative form - did not or didn't + verb
PAST CONTINUOUS-ΠΑΡΑΤΑΤΙΚΟΣ
-For actions which continued for some time in the past, but whose exact limits are not known or are not important
-for a longer action which was happening when a shorter action interrupted it permanently(the verb that describes the shorter action is in the Simple Past Tense
- for two or more actions which were happening in the past at the same time
form: was/were + verb with -ing suffix e.g was playing
