This course unit places its emphasis on social media. Through videos and meetings C1 learners will get the chance to familiarize with the advantages and disadvantages of social media.they will also expand their vocabulary on the topic and gain insight on how social media can affect the educational process. The use of games and padlet walls will engage the learners actively in the learning process.

After the completion of the course students will be able to:

Nowadays, social media have taken over the internet. People from all over the world and especially teenagers are daily users of them. But what exactly is this powerful tool? Watch the introductory video "What is social media?" and then answer the question on the padlet wall. Both, the video and the padlet link are available in the "Links" section.
