Course Description
The aim of this Course is to present to students the topic of Veganism! Through a series of discussions and activities students will get the chance to explore this topic thoroughly and hopefully gain further awareness on why it has become so popular over the last decades. The approach to language learning that will be followed is theme-based or problem-based. The main idea is that through a series of discourse and some activities based on either videos or discussion, students will gain confidence and feel free to engage and express their opinions!

As an Introduction to the course, you are asked to watch a YouTube video and based on that complete an activity. Click into the title to find the material.

For this last activity, you will use the forum module. I will split you in groups of three and you need to have a small debate. The two groups will support a different idea. One of them will be in favor of veganism and the second one against it. The third group will play a key role, that of the judging committee. Through this activity you will get the chance to interact with your classmates as well as build arguments which will be proven helpful for the homework you will be assigned!
