This course will help A1 level students learn how to talk about daily habits and how to ask others about theirs. The course will guide students to build their knowledge about how to form the Present Simple, how to spell verbs in this tense and also enrich their vocabulary about daily routines. The online modules can be used as self-study materials for students of a school class (so that they can interact with their classmates in the forum) or combined with synchronous teaching in the classroom (videos can be shown and discussed in class and quizzes and assignments will be done online).

By the end of this course the learner will be able to:

- Write an email to a friend about daily habits

- Understand when the simple present is used
- Practice and consolidate the form of the Simple Present
- Practice and consolidate the spelling rules of the third person singular the Simple Present
- Create a learning community through the use of a forum
- Acquisition of new vocabulary concerning daily habits
- Learn the basics of email writing

Unit 1 will present you Carter's breakfast routine. When we talk about routines, we use the Simple Present. Pay attention to what is added to the verb, where we add it and spelling rules!

Unit 2 will bring us all closer together! People have similar or different daily routines. Let's discuss what our and others' habits are! We still need to use Simple Present but now we learn about the negative and interrogative forms.

We can talk about our daily habits when we first make new friends in order to see if we have similar interests or when we want to talk to an old friend about our everyday life.
Unit 3 will teach you some basic vocabulary to talk about daily habits. In this unit, you will also learn how to write an email to a friend. Your final assignment will be replying to a friend's email, telling him/her what you do in a week
